I love Google Tour Builder as a way to immerse students into the Francophone and Hispanic worlds. Check out this activity which lets students visit homes in the Hispanic world and find descriptions to match them. And here is the document with the answers.

In my Spanish Phase 1/2 class the students have been studying the topic of community and as part of their study their study they have been learning about house and home. We have been practising the use of tener vs. haber vs. ser vs. estar in the present tense which can be very confusing for the students. As this group of students is mainly boys who are technology mad, I thought that they would find it very engaging to do a sketch-up project on their ideal home, and that this would also give me the opportunity to introduced a few examples of the conditional tense. See the results in the pictures above.
